FAQs

How should I prepare for my first appointment?

Stop using any topical prescriptions on your face 7 days prior to your appointment. Please arrive on time, and with a bare face. If you are coming from work/a day out and cannot remove your makeup, please arrive a little early. A cleanser will be provided for you to remove any makeup/products.  Please have a photo or detailed list of products you are currently using at home, or bring them with you. Also try not to purchase any new skincare products before your first appointment so that we can focus on curating the correct home care regimen for you.

How do I know what treatment to book?

Book a New Client Treatment which includes a consultation if you are a first time client. If you are a returning client and do not know what to book next, please text or call the office (919) 740-9799. It is best to book out 2-4 more treatments at the end of your appointment to avoid any confusion.

What can I expect in the consultation as a first time client?

Expect to come in bare faced, prepared with product information, and with skin concerns/goals. We will start with a VISIA screening where we will take an in-depth look at your skin including what is happening underneath the surface. From here we will curate your home care routine. Home care is where 80% of results come from. We will also make a plan of action for services to allow us to correct skin concerns and achieve our goals. After which, we will start with our first treatment.  

What is Acne Bootcamp?

Acne Bootcamp is a 12 week program that has curated to become 100% effective for all types of acne. Acne bootcamp can be done in person and virtually (see virtual acne FAQ) If you are an in clinic patient, you will come in every 2 weeks for an acne peel and/aerolase acne laser and put on a full acne regimen. Please be prepared to follow through and commit to the program for full results.

Can I do Acne Bootcamp if I don’t live in North Carolina?

Yes, Nourish offers Virtual Acne Bootcamp programs available to anyone in and outside of North Carolina. It can be 100% done through products and supplements. It requires check ins every 2 weeks to ensure progress.

Can you recommend products virtually?

Yes! Nourish specializes in curating effective and results driven skin care regimens. Please call/ text our office at (919) 740-9799 to schedule a virtual consult with us and make sure you have a budget in mind and a bare face!

What are your shipping costs?

Shipping will be calculated in your cart at checkout based on the weight of the product(s) you are purchasing as well as your shipping location.

When will my products ship?

Local shipping usually takes 1-3 days, but shipping times can vary. Please allow up to a maximum of 5-7 business days for your order to be processed during high volume periods. We will notify you when shipment has gone out along with sending you a tracking number for your shipment. Thank you for shopping with our small business!

Can I shop in store at The Nourish Skin Company storefront for products?

Yes, we are open: M: Closed, T: 10:30AM-5:00PM, W: 10:30 AM- 5:00PM, Th 10:30AM-5:00PM, F 10:30AM-5:00PM, Sa: By appointment only, Su: Closed.

What is your cancellation and rebooking policy?

Recognizing that everyone’s time is valuable and the appointment time is limited, we ask that you provide a 48 hour notice if you are unable to keep your appointment or need to change the appointment time/date. Any cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will result in 50% of the service fee, no-shows will result in full charge of appointment.

You will receive a confirmation the day of scheduling your appointment, a reminder 3 days prior to the appointment (within the time limit of making adjustments to appointments), and 24 hours before.
We understand emergencies happen and reserve the right to examine each cancellation, client history, and determine implementation of policies.

A client with three cancellations in a row or with three reschedules in a row risks having to pay up front for appointments prior to scheduling or being terminated from our practice.
